You make money on Twitch without affiliate or partner by selling your viewers the gear from your stream, through a free shop on FanShop.
Twitch pays streamers through subscriptions, bits and ad revenue, and all three need Affiliate status, which asks for 50 followers plus a run of recent streaming activity. Partner sits above that with a higher bar. Sponsorships come once brands notice your numbers, and until then the only direct route is a donation link. Many streamers stream for months before any of it opens.
FanShop works from the first regular in your chat. The hoodie you wear on every stream and the cap from your overlay are pieces your viewers see for hours, and in a free shop on FanShop they can buy them.
A viewer who watches you three nights a week has spent more time looking at your hoodie than at most of their own clothes. They know the jersey you wear on match nights and the headset from a hundred streams. On FanShop the listing names the stream or the series the piece belongs to, and a regular recognises it without a second photo. That is why selling your own pieces to your viewers works before any Twitch programme does.
Your name and address stay private, payouts arrive every month, shipping covers the whole EU. You are in before launch and build your shop among the first.

List each piece with the stream it belongs to. Your regulars will know the night.
FanShop is in pre-launch. Creators apply now and build their shops, buyers arrive at launch. A panel under your stream can point to the shop from the first night it opens.
You enter the amount that should land with you, the shop price is calculated from it, and FanShop keeps 30 percent of the shop price. The buyer pays shipping at checkout, parcels ship across the EU, and returns go to FanShop.
Payouts go out once a month to your bank or Stripe account. A sale becomes due 14 days after confirmed delivery, which covers the buyer's statutory right of withdrawal. The minimum payout is 10 euros, and smaller amounts roll into the next month.
No. FanShop has no follower minimum and no monthly fee. You apply, verify once, and your shop opens to the viewers you already have.
No. FanShop is the sender on the prepaid label, you drop the parcel at a parcel shop, and returns go to FanShop. Your name and address stay private, which matters when your viewers know your face.
For most creators this is relaxed. Selling things from your everyday life is usually treated as a private sale, and the rules depend on the country you live in. Under EU platform rules, FanShop reports nothing to the tax office as long as you stay under 30 sales and 2,000 euros per year. If you sell regularly, a quick word with a tax adviser settles it. This is general information, not legal or tax advice. Full details are on our Notes and FAQ page.
Pieces you have personally worn, used or owned: clothing, shoes and gear. New merchandise, reselling and underwear stay out, nothing sexual is listed, and presentation is always clean.
Applying takes a few minutes. A person reviews it and you get an answer by email.
