You can make money online without investment by selling things you already own to people who already know you. No startup capital, no stock to buy, no course to pay for. If you post online and people follow what you do, the items in your wardrobe and your room are the inventory.
Search for ways to make money online and you will find dropshipping, print on demand, affiliate sites and reselling. Each one is described as free to start. In practice dropshipping needs ad spend, print on demand needs design work and marketing, affiliate sites need months of content before anything converts, and reselling means buying stock first and hoping it sells.
They also share a weakness. You are selling to strangers, so you compete with everyone else selling the same thing, and the only lever you have is price.
If you post regularly on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or Twitch, you have something that costs nothing to acquire and that no one else can copy: an audience that recognises you and the things you wear and use.
That audience sees the same hoodie in your videos, the cap in your thumbnails, the sneakers in your daily vlog. These pieces already exist. You paid for them long ago, for your own use. Selling them to a follower is income with zero new investment.
Everyday examples:
No new merchandise, no reselling. Just your own pieces with your own story.
FanShop is a marketplace where creators sell personal pieces they have worn, used or owned to their fans. There is no fee to join, no monthly cost and no follower minimum. You do not need experience in selling.
You apply in the browser. A person reviews the application and sends you an invitation by email. Before your first sale you verify your identity once. Every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live, so you are never guessing whether a listing is acceptable.
You enter the payout you want for a piece, and the shop price is calculated from it. FanShop keeps 30 percent of the shop price. There is nothing to pay upfront, and FanShop only earns when you do.
Shipping is the part of online selling that usually eats time and money. On FanShop the buyer pays shipping at checkout. When a piece sells, you pick a parcel shop near you, download a prepaid label and hand the parcel in.
The label shows FanShop as the sender and a creator code. Your name and street do not appear. Returns go to FanShop, not to you. Shipping is within the EU.
Payouts are made once a month to a bank or Stripe account. A sale becomes payable 14 days after confirmed delivery, which is the legal return window for buyers in the EU. The minimum payout is 10 euro, and smaller amounts roll over to the next month.
If a piece is returned, the buyer is refunded and nothing is paid out for that sale. You are never asked to pay anything back out of your own pocket because you were not paid for a returned sale in the first place.
On tax: selling regularly for profit may count as a business in your country. FanShop gives no legal or tax advice. Ask a tax adviser before you rely on this as income.
Vinted, eBay and Depop exist and cost nothing to list on as well. The difference is the buyer. There the buyer is a stranger scrolling through hundreds of similar items and deciding on price. On FanShop the buyer is your own follower who already knows the piece and why it matters. You are not competing on price with every other grey hoodie online.
